Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up sales calls
  • Cultivate/source new business leads through research
  • Manage relationships and provide a high level of customer service
  • Effective communication, timely response to requests
  • Proactive resolution to potential issues
  • Work closely with the VP, Sales & Marketing to ensure deadlines/goals are met
  • Meet with clients regularly as needed
  • Discuss ideas and advertising strategies with clients and assist them in developing advertising campaigns
  • Present creative concepts to clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
  • Must be able to continually prioritize workload with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years experience as an advertising account executive or in a related position.
  • Customer service and relations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • High level of adaptability and creative thinking
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to constantly prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Ability to truly multi-task
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite, email, etc.
  • Knowledge of print and online media preferred
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills
  • Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques
  • The ability to cope with pressure and keep to tight deadlines
  • Be able to work as part of a team of creative staff members
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing
