Marketing Coordinator (Updated 7/14/2022)
Essential Job functions:
- Assist the marketing department with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs, including email, events, social media, and content marketing
- Social content curation/creation
- Client liaison
- Independently coordinate marketing and community events when required. This includes overseeing logistics, managing registrations, vendor coordination, and ordering marketing collateral
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
- Conduct market research and identify trends
- Continually prioritize workload with minimal supervision to manage multiple projects
Knowledge & Skills Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in marketing
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Customer service and relations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- High level of adaptability and creative thinking
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
- Ability to constantly prioritize with minimal supervision
- Ability to truly multi-task
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite, email, etc.
- Knowledge of print and online media preferred
- Strong negotiation and consultative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Occasional travel may be required
- Reports to the VP, Strategy & Operations and VP, Sales & Marketing
